Guillaumes is a long established firm of solicitors based in the heart of Weybridge in Surrey, with a wealth of experience in helping business and private clients solve their legal problems. The firm as it is today was established in 2007, as a result of a merger between two of the most prominent law firms in Weybridge – Guillaumes, and Gosling & Wilkinson – both founded in the nineteenth century. The firm’s expertise covers a broad spectrum of legal services, including divorce and finances, probate, wills, conveyancing, commercial property, landlord and tenant matters, litigation, tax planning and personal tax services. Our solicitors have considerable experience and expertise in these areas, and are able to offer sound advice and support, in plain English, on a wide range of legal matters ranging from the simple to the complex. We are experts in advising clients on the preparation of a will, and the issues surrounding inheritance tax planning. We also help with regular reviews of a will to take account of any changes in personal circumstances or fiscal changes. We also deal with the administration of estates on death, in accordance with a will, always considering the further tax planning that may be needed on a death to secure a family’s assets. We can draw up Lasting Powers of Attorney for those in need and also make any application needed to the Court of Protection. We specialise in Trusts and can, in particular, help parents set up a Trust to make provision for any adult child with a learning difficulty or disability. Using our links with Independent Financial Advisory professionals, we can help clients find the right financial advisor to assist them with their investment, insurance or pension needs.
