Cardiff Law School is a large, well resourced centre of excellence which plays a full role in serving the University in its mission as one of the UK's leading teaching and research institutions. The results of the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) recognise us as one of the UK’s leading legal research bodies, placing us 7th in the UK. The results class 60% of the School’s research activity as world-leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*). We have a large number of academic staff, including twenty Professors and sixty Lecturers. Individual research interests are detailed in our staff profiles. The School offers a range of undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) programmes, while the Centre for Professional Legal Studies runs the highly successful Legal Practice Course, and Bar Professional Training Course (formerly the Bar Vocational Course).
