PFS offers services across all of the forensic science disciplines commonly encountered in criminal or civil investigations and in the evaluation of evidence.

We have global experience of providing independent expertise to all parties within criminal justice, including expert witness testimony commissioned by both prosecution and defence.

Quality, rigour and impartiality are central to all PFS work.

Alongside casework, PFS offers bespoke training across the spectrum of forensic science, and advice on attaining quality accreditation and enhancing quality standards.

PFS scientists have led development of many aspects of the Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Practice, and can assist with embedding quality across the forensic process, method validation and the successful introduction of innovation and novel forensic science into the criminal justice system.
